That is really wild! Lots of imagination there, and craftsmanship. It may not be everyone's styling cup of tea, but I think it's cool. It reminds me of some old, small metal cars I had handed down to me (probably made in the '30s) with that kind of look. Hope to see it at NNL East!
Another great 'Big Sit' Uncle Bobby! Here are some more pics.
Some bonding, too!

I like clean street machines, and this Fairlane fits the bill! The Torque Thrusts, hood scoop and exhaust tips are nice details, too. Mike, you're going to have to show up at a CPMCC meeting sometime with these new builds!
I really like this one Lyle. It has that old-build kind of look, like it would have been done in the '50s. The flames look neat, too. Looks spot-on to the artwork, also. Hope to see it at the 'Sit' tomorrow.
Hey, no problem, Tommy. Nick and I have a good time there every year, especially racing our slot cars. Don't be too hard on Uncle Bobby, he means well, and we also enjoy seeing him at the Showdown. See ya Saturday!
Tom, yer killin' me! I'm jealous now, and I know after it's painted I'll want one. I think these look their best in the BRE livery, and just plain look so cool as a slot car/truck. I gotta get that Bugeye done, so I can get one of these. THANKS!
Another great model from one of my favorite race car builders. Funny looking? Maybe to some. Fast and durable, yes. Ferrari power!
That turned out beautiful, Dale.
Mark, I'm not sure which kits you're referring to, but Revell's #25 Roush Racing Mustang kit I have does not have a separate hatch. This is Dorsey Schroeder's '89 SCCA Trans Am championship winning car. Maybe the earlier IMSA kits are separate?
