FourFourty Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I just spent 3 hours on the internet trying to find information on how to put lights on a 1:25 scale plastic model. Does anyone here know what components are needed and how to do it? I have never done this to a model before and want to start doing it. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info out there on how to do it. There are plenty of videos on Youtube showing off this craft, but no how to. Below is a sample of what I am referring to. Thank-You.
coopdad Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Fourfourty, I ran across a guy this morning that was using those electric "tea" lights found at Craft Stores. He takes them apart and, depending on where the light will go, add some length to the wire coming off the LED. He also mentioned using blinking necklaces found in Toy sections of crafts stores. John

Andrew Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Hi, I have been looking for info too and found this site http://www.theledlight.com/ledcircuits.html giving a tutorial. I also found these guys on ebay (uk - that's where I'm based!) but they probably sell International. http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/phenoptix__W0QQ_armrsZ1 Good luck, don't forget to tell us how you get on!!
