Lyle Willits Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 What do you do if you want to build the new Revell Deuce kit and the Revell Model A?,,,,,,,just combine them. I added a rim from another wheel to deepen the rear steelies found in the new '32 kit. With a little added plastic, the louvered trunk / rumble seat lid fits the '30 Model A perfectly. (Yeah,,,,I'll give the lid to Norm on Saturday) Chopped 6 inches and I'm adding the correct belt line molding. the molding needs to be smoothed in. Just a mock up. Build will be lower when finished. Yeah,,,,I'm still working on the '29 Model A too.
Raul_Perez Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Yeah...thanks to Revell for adding the louvered trunk as a separate piece, I fully expect to see that trunk lid on a lot of builds in the near future. I know that Bernard (GBK1) has started one, too. Nice work, as always, Lyle!! I'll be looking forward to seeing this in Norm's catalog by the end of the year! Later,
Fletch Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 The start of another fantastic build from Lyle's bench. I don't know how many variations of the '30 Coupe we'll see over the next year but, I always know when I see your name on a new project it's going to be cool. Looking forward to seeing where you've this one headed.
Foxer Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 I deDeuce from the photos this is going to be a real looker!
