bitner Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 This is the latest Ford. I was building this the same time as the C series tanker. I used the chassis and engine of a Ford snowplow, with the rear wheels from an Astro. The cab is a resin one I purchased online. I made a mold of a resin sleeper master, and cast the one that I added to the rear of the cab. I made most of the decals on the tractor, with the trailer decals being aftermarket with the exception of the Trailmobile plates, and the moving company name. I'm not real happy with the paint on the trailer but it will do. I'll get some better pictures of it outside later on. I'm hoping to add an ALV GMC Crackerbox tractor in the near future to go with this one.
Nick Allen Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 That's an amazing build, really crisp, and I love the amount of detail you've put on there. Nick.
mackinac359 Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Nice bedbugger! Now all you need is 10 more license plates hanging on the bumper. Tim

Albert Moore Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 That is a cool looking build. I enjoy seeing the more esoteric trucks like this. Great job! Cheers, Albert
Modelsbyroni Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 NICE BUILD. I LIKE THOSE TWO STORY FALCONS. GOT 2 GET 1.
Old Albion Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Another superb looking truck! The big Ford is an unusual looking truck by todays standards. But I can imagine it was pretty much in keeping with the styles of the 50s and 60s. Of course nowadays it would pobably make quite a collectors item. Great work as usuall Best Wishes Dave
