Kyle Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I just started building Revell's 2007 Shelby GT500. I'm planning a detailed build with lots of p/e and aluminum. I also want to plumb and wire the engine bay as much as I can. So I could use some good reference pictures. I found a few on google images, but I could use some pictures of the coil packs, how the spark plug wires are routed, the fuel lines and injectors, and some pics of lower in the engine bay. I appreciate any help.
Rick Schmidt Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) Dunno bout the fuel lines and such But there Shouldn't be any Coils or plug wires showing. I believe each plug has its own pack and all the packs are under Power by SVT plates, Which are in silver here on mine. Also note the blue on the covers and the Silver Supercharger are not correct, but a liberty I took to give it more to look at. Edited August 19, 2009 by midknightx5
93Z34 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 In all actuality, there is very little in the way of wiring and so forth that is visible in the new Shelby. You can see some vacuum hoses and miscellaneous wiring going to carious electricl sensors, but in terms of plug wiring and so forth, most of that is hidden under various covers and so forth. Most of today's modern engines are the same way.
VW Dave Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Did you say '07 GT500 reference pics'??? I may be able to help. In the summer of '07 I shot a few pics of my neighbors' brandy-new 'stripe delete' droptop GT. There's lots more at my Fotki: 2007 SHELBY GT500
