Car Crazy 81 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Since my computer was being repaired because it had a lot of viruses in it i managed to finish off my GTO for the next club meeting. What ya'll think.
Guest Gramps-xrds Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I THINK I LOVE IT I used to own 1 yrs ago. Mine had a 67 GTO 400 HO engine & a 4/10 rear. What a car.
Build Up Boy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Very nice ride and very well done! My favorite year of GOAT. Love the color and the wheels. Brings back fond memories. My 1:1 was blue / black interior, 4 speed, 389 4 bbl. I bought it used in 68. Marty
george 53 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Real nice build,Rick. I've always liked those slotted mags, had them on both My 69 Charger AND Super Bee. Makes the car look even racier! Great color for it too. What kit is it? the Polar Lights kit in 25th or the Mono kit in 24th? whatever scale, it came out NICE!

George- This is an old 1:24 scale Monogram kit from the early 80's that i got in a trade its a pretty nice kit.
Car Crazy 81 Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 Very nice Goat!! But i gotta know, what color & paint is it!?! I love that color & can already think of a kit that needs it! Mark- The paint i have used on the GTO is Dupli-Color Toreador Red Metallic which is a Ford Color before i sprayed the red i'd used Dupli-Color Silver Metallic as a basecoat and then went on the Red to brighten things up.
Foxer Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Love that color .. proper on that 64!! Looks great
voljeepx Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 That stance gives it a real vintage feel! I agree with the others that the color and wheels are spot on. I've always liked the '64 GTO, it was such a clean and tasteful design. Good job!
