Model Car Conventions or Shows in Florida?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any shows or conventions in Florida or possibly Georgia or Southern South Carolina.. I did a web search and came up with nothing.

Any help would be great!

Lyn, the model show season for Florida is pretty much over with for the year. What shows we do have here are during the first part of the year. There is the Street Rod Nationals in Tampa in October that has a model show in conjunction with the 1:1 car show but that's pretty much it for this year.

There is a very good show coming up in October in Charelston, SC. Check out the web site www.scmodelers.com for information.

The largest show coming up within reasonable traveling distance is the Southern Nationals NNL in Atlanta in November. You can find more info. on this one at www.acme-ipms.com

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with models. But I'm still GOING!!

I don't built myself, or at least I am not building yet haha. the last 2 months I've touched 500+ models and I'm feeling the itch.. What i am looking for is information, I was hoping if I went to a show I could get face to face help. Is your show just a show or are there going to be buying booths too?

There will be vender tables there too.

As far as building goes, I can promise you that there will be people there that would gladly answer any question you have.
