iam wondering if any body can tell me what i could use for home made blower blanket material :blink: any help or tips would be great,thanks alot

hi craig!

i like to use masking tape, i get the blower wrapped up the way i want it then brush paint it with testors enamal flat black miced with some gloss black, to keep the tape texture and give it a nice sheen.

Instead of using masking tape, why not try athletic tape. It's a cloth material and it can take acrylic paint very well. It also comes in all different colors. Hockey shops would carry it; also most sporting goods places. I use it for making seat belts. Hope this helps.

thanks alot brendan, ive actually still got all my hockey stuff, " from my younger years" including tape ill give it a try!! thanks again

thats what i get for growing up gear headed, i wasnt into sports in school. unless you consider motorsports. B);) ;)

Maybe use a old dryer softener sheet painted the color you need?
