Whether you use it on Sunday bears no matter.
jas1957 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Admission to the NNL is $10, to the toy show I think it is $12 good for both days. Remember the toy show and the NNL are two totally separate events, we pay John Carlisle the toy show promoter rent for the NNL space. I know this bugs some people paying two admissions, because most shows the same people run the model show and the vender area, we are one of the few if not the only one that is separate. Sorry I know this hurts some folks in the wallet, but that's the way it is. John Strick Cleveland Automotive Modelers

hippie6 Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 I might have been slightly mis-understood. I have no problem with paying for the NNL entry and the toy show entry. My only wish is this. If I remember correctly. In years past I thought it was $14 for the toy show saturday and $7 on sunday. If I'm going to the toy show on saturday why pay for 2 days?? I'm not close enough nor do I have that much money to go to the toy show for 2 days. I don't have several hundred dollars to spend and the extra money spent getting in hurts the pockets. I just think Mr. Carlisle is taking advantage of the situation. I know he has to pay the rent for the building and insurance. Just my 2 cents worth and I might have it all wrong, its just how I remember it. Brad aka Hippie6

Tom Kren Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Actually,he's come way down.....Just a few years ago floor rights on saturday was fifty bucks,if I recall..... Think its BS I have to pay for two days when im only there for Sat then he charges $75 to $80 a table for vendors and wants to know why he doesnt get the place to fill .I remember you couldnt walk at this show cause it was packed in there now ya see tumble weeds! I have no problem paying the $10 to get into NNL also but to pay for two days when im only there for one come on!
cruz Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I am sure there are different venues they can rent, why not do that? I don't mind paying 10 dollars for the NNL part of it but 12 bucks for a toy show, freak that!!
