Hello there. Has anybody seen this? I just registered for this web site that has anything/everything to do with cars and they are offering a free 1/18 scale model of a Hemi engine. I just registered and got a free motor! Now we'll have to wait and see if I actually receive one!

Please see here.

I'll have to find the actual link to the free engine advertisement. I did this for a friend of mine who is in the UK and offer does not apply to them.

The offer is legit. I got one to see how it is. It's not a bad engine, thou is 1/18 and not much use to me. Liberty Classics makes this and lists it for $37, so not a bad deal. Seems a bit overpriced at that cost.

Here's a link to the engine you get.

Thank's Foxer. I just received e-mail confirming my $0.00 purchase order of the Hemi engine. We'll see how long it takes for it to arrive. Is it a big box? I'm wondering what it'll cost to ship it to my UK friend.

The shipping was a little over $2 in the states. Not sure how they handle Europe.

Box was 11" x 5.5" x 5" high and was well padded... it's still sitting here. Came by first class US Mail and didn't take very long.

nope, it doesnt

Register for the site then follow the link in my previous post to the engine. I had to fish around for it, it came up with the free offer. Don't think I can help much anymore. I have no idea how long this offer was for.

All I know is my UK-based friend wanted one but they wouldn't ship it to him. So when I get it in the mail, I'll turn around and ship it to him. Now if it was a Lamborghini or Ferrari engine, that would be sweet!
