Hi,I thought I would join up here and post a few bits n bobs.I mostly build in 1:24 and enjoy scratchbuilding and kit bashing.

I have just finished an Austin FX4 - the black London taxi,but I chopped the roof,turned it into a panel truck and bunged in a Ferrari V12 engine!

Seems like a good kinda ride to start with! A custom chopped taxi would be a new one for us! Me again guys,I joined just a few days ago and recieved a warm welcome.So firstly cheers for the welcome.

I posted a few recent builds to show what I do,and have had a good look around the site.I do like what I see here,not only the great builds but more importantly (in my eyes) the friendly relaxed atmosphere.So I will be sticking around.

So a little about me,I an 44 years old.Born in Northern Ireland but my family moved to England when I was 12 due to the 'troubles' over here,I spent the next 27 years living in England.Then 5 years ago I upped sticks and moved home.

I have only been back into modeling about 4 years now,what do I build? Well anything that takes my fancy,I do love the original Mini and have I think..about 10 or so completed and the three Italian job mini's on the go at the moment.Plus several in the stash.

I have a theme at the moment of Rallycross cars,these are basicaly rally cars used on a closed circuit which is part tarmac and part mud.These are fun as the cars can be just about any european/japanese car ect.

Another enjoyable thing I have been getting into is scratch building and converting kits as you may have seen with the taxi..

In a few days I will start my first WIP here,it is a Citroen 2CV that I am making lower and longer and will have a Mustang V8 engine fitted
