This is a model that I had in my mind to do from the date it was issued about 10 years ago and me, being almost a Porsche model mar builder knew that I was missed this one from my chain. Another thing made me to build this one was that this is first Tamiya model since year 2001. I remember I was finishing the GT-3 the same day of the 9/11 in NY. From that date I was feeling kind of weird, because, almost everyone here and in the model cars community build a Tamiya from time to time. For this one I used Gunze Sangyo's Cobalt Blue toped with Modeler's Super Clear. I'm so sorry this clear is now Out of Production from what I heard. Anyone that has better info, please, tell me I'm wrong..please! The exhaust system was weathered with pastels.

So,..here's my OOB boxster!

Personally, I'm not a big Porsche or sports car fan, but I think the Boxster is one of the prettiest cars on the road. Put it this way, money allowing, I'd seriously consider buying one.

That looks really nice, and I have to agree, the undercarriage detailing is very good.

Good job on it, I just can't see that color matching this car, another color would have been better. I also think is too high. Sorry, this is just constructive critisism man. Also, is the pillar from the windshield broken? B)

Beautiful color and well executed....

Tamiya kits just build up so nicely. I've gotta get me one but they don't produce subjects i wish to build much.

Well done.

Thanks for your comments, easy, I accept that, is your point of view and I respect that. Yes, the pillar is broken, so much people had ask about and the reason is that after the model was completely finished, when I was waxing it the accident happened. I was so satisfied with the shiny look that even despite the accident I wouldn't take the risk to try to fix it and do a worst job.

I had to get this, because, despite it was a link I didn't had in my Porsche model cars chain, I couldn't had pass the chance to pay $5...yes, $5 for this open box, but, complete Tamiya Boxster at the last 2009 GSL.

Thanks for your kinds comments about the model.
