Guest Gramps-xrds Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 If you guys are like me I have a lot of old valve covers that I don't like and won't use because they didn't have a mounting flange on them and don't look right. So I've fixed a few. I filed the bottom and glued them to a piece of .010 stock and let them dry.. Then cut them apart. With a little filing and sanding and they are as good as the others.
fatkidd Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Gramps-xrds, that is a great tip. i have several sets of valve covers that are in the parts bin for just that reason. thanks for sharing.
