caine440 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I do not post to many WIP photos but I thought I would share this one before I button it up. I lost the coil or the motor would be done. I will have to make one to finish it up along with a missing tail light. Both the front and rear windows were scuffed badly and this was my first try ever at polishing out clear plastic. The decal came out ok though they could have been better. Thanks for looking

Dragline Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 (edited) I agree with TxRat, your cleanliness improves every time you post something. This is on par with a great many here. Great subject, great execution. You are much improved. Bob F PS: I would recommend the Novis sytem for cleaning up kit glass. It also works great on clear coats as well. my name is nobody Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 A legendary "A-Body" mopar comes to life! this really looks great, and should make a fine addition to your NHRA collection.
caine440 Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 Thank you all for your kind words. It seems I learn something new every time I log on this site. Could not find the Novis polish around here but will be looking at picking some up on line. Did start using Treehugger Dave's tips on this build. Wanted to use a clear lacquer on it but the weather has turned cold and nasty so I tried future on it as I can spray it in the apartment and not get killed by my loving wife. Then polished it out with Meguiar's #7 glaze. The finished build is posted in the drag racing section. Again, thank you.
