More photos coming soon! I am setting up all the finishing steps in a priority list, so I don't forget something when gluing all the components together. Thanks bobthehobbyguy Thanks for asking! The rear wheels are on swing arms, (like on a motorcycle), with chain or belt drive to each. The engine is connected with 2 drive shafts. This runs the drivetrain on both sides of the driver and allows me to set the drivers seat very low, right between them.

Ira Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 I found these wheels at a Dollar Store! They were packaged sepparately and sold as toys with an optional launcher. The wheels are about 10th scale and are very nicely detailed, perfect size for Triangula! I removed the nylon launching parts and finally found a good way to mount these to Triangula! I am grinding the square mounting post down so that it fits inside a thick piece of plastic tubing. Then I found another length of plastic tubing that fits inside the first length of tubing, and it fits the front axle mounts!!! This set-up works Great on the rears too!

Ira Posted December 17, 2011 Author Posted December 17, 2011 I found some 8th scale Corvette Brakes in the parts box that will be perfect for Triangula! The brakes are one-sided, so I traced their shape on sheet plastic, to make backs for the brakes. The Front Brakes are visible from both sides so I made additional parts from sheet plastic for the Fronts. The Rear Brakes are one sided and don't need any more detail on the Rears. Here are the Brakes with all the pieces glued together. This set up will allow me to mount the Brakes right on the new wheel hub mounts. Now I need a little putty and primer...

I cut the bottom half off of it! The steering wheel is from Monograms 8th scale '95 Corvette. I cut the top half off of it! The control panel is cut from the Monogram 8th scale Camaro's dashboard. A second control panel from Monograms 12th scale Testarossa has already been fit into the interior.
Ira Posted December 18, 2011 Author Posted December 18, 2011 Here are the Dual Belt Drive Guards! This is how the power get to the rear wheels... There are two Swing Arms, one for each rear wheel. There are two Belt Drives, one for each rear wheel. Power goes from the engine to a transfer case to the Belt Drives. No Driveshaft! This allows the driver to sit lower in the Triangula!

Ira Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 FLAMES!!! I need more flames! I realized one sheet was not enough and I finally found a second sheet of Flames on line! After the paint dries I wil be applying the Flames to the areas of the body painted with Diamond Dust.
Ira Posted December 30, 2011 Author Posted December 30, 2011 More Painting.... After the Diamond Dust paint dried, I turned the body upside down and sprayed the underside with Mica Blue. I didn't mask the top area so the separation line between the colors is soft. The interior and engine area have been painted Flat Black. While I was spraying the Mica Blue I turned the body slightly and sprayed the taillight area also!
