  1. looking good love the color and the cowl hood really ties the car together
  2. love the look this one is taking and as for the airbags there was somebody on here making and selling them there is also a tip on how to make them using airplane wheels and heat shrink tubing on here I just can't find it right now.
  3. love it!!! did you make the surfboards or buy them?
  4. i agree winshield a little higher and a cowl hood would put it over the top nice build can't wait to see more
  5. looking good ira can't wait to see this one finished.
  6. the start to a set of eyeglasses?????
  7. Looking good I like everything so far. But I don't understand the spark plug wires into the firewall.
  8. I like where this is headed. I would lean towards the caddy engine cause shine runners would leave the car looking stock but the engine would be hopped up or swaped out for something more powerful than the cops had in order to out run them. I just don't think the flathead would cut it. But it's your model do as you wish.
  9. looking good love the body style. question are you going for a look like the car dominic drove in the fuel heist scene in the begining of fast and furious four?
  10. going to be an interesting build can't wait to see more.

  13. wow looking good so far can't wait to see more I'll be watching this one.
  14. I just about lost it while the forum was down today I needed a fix for you guys bad. I would have went to the bench and worked on one of my six projects I got going but I need more eye candy for four of them Cause I have what I call Artist block cause I can't decide how I want to paint them up. But to kind of calm my shakes down a bit I went and scowered the internet for aftermarket suppliers, resin casters, and whatever else I could find relating to models. But it wasn't the same as being here with you guys. Oh and as for the other two projects one is waiting for the green light for the build contest and the other is awating funds to get the parts I need to finish it. I want to go to a big model show at least once in my life. I was in a little local show put on by a hobby shop thats gone out of buisness. It was the first time I ever entered a show and to my surprise I took third place in the street class. I lost the original model put I plan on remaking it. It had alot of firsts for me on that model. Anyway glad the forum is back so I can get my styrene fix.
  15. amazing simply amazing I love it and I'll be watching this one keep it going.
  16. looks good to me I'd be proud to have it on my shelf if it was mine.
  17. Go for it and do your own thing as you always do. I use my decals whenever and wherever I see fit. I usually don't like putting them on the kit they were intended for so I'll save them to use somewhere else. Besides you make your own rules. "Rules you don't need no stnkin rules"
  18. I fully understand the pain you are going through I just lost my sister in law to kidney failure on october 10th of this year. It is no fun and me and my family's symapathies and prayers are with you and your wife.
  19. Welcome Bailey look forward to seeing some of your builds and it's always nice to hear of someone else taking up the hobby. So come on in pull up a seat and welcome to the family.
  20. well I would be interested in getting one or two if you complete making one in resin jeff. Also I would like to thank everybody for the info.
  21. thanks for the tip I'll have to try it always hated the floating generator or alternator.
  22. I forgot to mention that for bodies I use a coat hanger bent to fit in the body tightly and it alows me to turn it and keeps my hands from the overspray and it also serves as a drying stand when i'm done cause i just go hang the body upside down in the closet. here's pics to show how it works.
