Chuck Most Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Okay, Duke... where's KARR? Maybe the version from "KITT vs. KARR", where he had the silver rocker panels and the amber scanner? As soon as I dig up another Knight 2000 kit, that's what I'm doing!

As soon as I dig up another Knight 2000 kit, that's what I'm doing! Well if I ever come across 2 more of these kits, I'm gonna do 1 as KARR and the other as KITT super pursuit mode.
Rick Schmidt Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I'm all for KARR but they can keep the Super Pursuit I been wanting to do a KARR too but I gotta get both an AMT and a Revell to do so. I built my KITT using a Revell 91 so to match I'd have to base KARR the same way
FujimiLover Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) I'm going to save up for the Aoshima models and do both KITT and KARR, can't have one without the other, and the SPS mode that Aoshima offers. Look's pretty cool and it's nostalgic. Edited October 22, 2009 by FujimiLover
voljeepx Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Nick, your builds just keep getting better and better! Good job on 'ol KITT, I'm sure the Hoff would be proud!

Look's pretty cool and it's nostalgic. Whoawhoawhoawhoawhoa.... theres a SPS version of KITT in model kit form? By Aoshima? Who do I have to kill to get one? I'm going to do a kit of KARR, as well as a few versions of KITT from different episodes (remember the one where he had side pipes, Center Line wheels, and flames?) Also, I'm going to build a version of KITT's little-known 'Sloppy Burger' mode. You know- he's up on blocks with his hood open, trying to eat a cheese burger, while Bonnie video tapes him and pleas with him to stop drinking! Not sure how I'm gonna pull it off, but if I ever do, I'll be sure to post it on You Tube! Edited October 24, 2009 by Chuck Most
beefheart22 Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Sweet! Knight Rider was one of my favorite shows. Too bad the Turbo Boost was only good for one use per episode. Good job! Have you ever watched Boy Meets World? There's a common tie between the two shows.

Not sure how I'm gonna pull it off, but if I ever do, I'll be sure to post it on You Tube! That was from Season Two episode Custom Kitt. That was when they were trying to nab a car thief who was stealing high end custom cars whenever there was a car-show around town. They customized "KITT" to help attract attention of thieves. I thought the best scene was when the two wannabe's tried to brake into KITT and KITT opened the doors for them and gave them a ride of their lives! LOL! That would be a cool version to see in model kit form for sure. Can't wait till you do one! Hobby Japan on ebay I believe has the SPS mode of KITT in stock. Their not as cheap as the original MPC models of KITT, but I think their quality speaks for themselves! http://cgi.ebay.com/Knight-Rider-K-I-T-T-S...#ht_4548wt_1167 http://cgi.ebay.com/Knight-Rider-K-I-T-T-S...#ht_5064wt_1167 Sorry, can't find KARR at the moment. Yes, either the kids teacher or principal can't remember which was the voice of KITT, and that actor was WILLIAM DANIELS. A little something to amuse you with: http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/poitier/1005/id29.htm Edited October 25, 2009 by FujimiLover
