george 53 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Oh YEAH! We's Rollin tuff again!!!! I've only seen one model of a Solstice, a die cast jobbie by Maisto, of which I have one! But it DIN'T come with a roof. The workmanships just too good ta be a model.(at least to ME it is)
Jon Cole Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 "I went with real. To the best of my knowledge there is no plastic, rsin or diecast kit of the Solstice. It would take a heck of a scratchbuilder to do it." I have the Maisto 1/24- 1/25 diecast buried around this junkyard of mine here somewhere. I bought it because... there was no other way to get a Solstice in "our" scale. Someday you may buy it at my estate sale!
MrObsessive Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 You don't know how BAD I wanted to spill the beans about this car! It was part of a series of concept Solstices that turned up a year or two ago on the auto show circuits. That removable hardtop would have been a nice addition to the option list for it............too bad GM went and canceled it along with the rest of Pontiac.
