Is Fred still doing business or does anyone live close enough to him or have a way of contacting him other than snail mail? I'd like to get some of his older sheets.

Fred has reportedly retired. However he still has product available as Harry pointed out. Good luck finding what you need. Hopefully Fred will sell his equipment and screens to someone who will make good use of them someday.

Fred has "officially" retired but he still reprints decals that he runs out of. He still fills orders that find their way to his P.O. box and he supplies several retailers. In other and plainer words, his decals are available . One needs to do a tiny bit of work to get them.

The only way someone will get his screens, equipment and artwork will be at his estate sale! His parents lived to their late 80s so that will be a long time from now!!

I first met Fred back in the late eighties and worked for the company that probably was his first (and maybe only) wholesale distributor. We had a very good working relationship and I hope he lives a very long time and enjoys it as much as he obviously enjoys making his superb decals. I'm very glad to know that he's still crankin' out decals and I don't have to handletter all of those darkside rides I've got planned. These old eyes just ain't what they used to be.

So what would be the suggested method to get a decal sheet that is out of production and not listed on the site you supplied? Specifically, the Jones Javalin. I have a mix-mash of decals, thanks to a kind member of this forum to mostly complete the kit but would love to get the actual sheet. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I managed to find some decals I need of his. I really need to get #197 Dean Van Lines Indy #29. I will try and drop him a letter in the mail with some money to hopefully entice him.
