Shawn Tillotson Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Well enough lurking around the board. Have not posted much in the past year and haven't built much in the past 7 months being summer and all!!! Well I have slowly dipped my toes in the water with modeling again and trying the whole board experience thing again too! Hopefully no drama here to make me go into hiding again! I started this build to take with me to the GoodGuys Lonestar Nats but the big hot rod prevented that with some last minute issues!LOL! Well here you go, comments always welcome The prelimary interior shot, still need shifter, and of course steering wheel with a little more dash detail The completed body with decals, still need to add red stripe decal to the strobe stripe and then clear.
87 Grand Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Hey Shawn your challenger is looking great. The strobe stripe is perfect. Is the the full detail kit or curbside? I can't wait to see some more pics. Keep us posted. See you at the Dec. meeting. Chris.
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Same here, Shawn. Looking good and can't wait to see it finished. What are you using for rolling stock?
vizio93 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Is this the 2009 one by AMT ? I have one i'm about to start, so i'll keep an eye on this thread
Shawn Tillotson Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 Is this the 2009 one by AMT ? I have one i'm about to start, so i'll keep an eye on this thread Yes its the AMT R/T curbside. Was not ready to jump into a full detail version especially when trying to pull off this paint job. Marc , the rolling stock is those Aoshima wheels you showed me that look fairly close to the 20" billet rallys that Foose used.
caine440 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I am big fan of the new Challenger and yours is looking great. Thanks for posting.
Modelsbyroni Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 LOVE THE PAINT. THOSE COLORS R POPPIN'.
vizio93 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Yes its the AMT R/T curbside. Was not ready to jump into a full detail version especially when trying to pull off this paint job. I see what you mean, and by the way you did a great job on the paint
MyBradKeselowski Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Super!!! The yellow and stripes catches my attention. Any updates or work done lately?
