  1. That is a Very Nice street rod. Great color and kit bashing.
  2. Nice build. Got to love those Days of Thunder rides.
  3. Nice build you got going. As far as engine, pick up one of the current Revell '68 Chargers. It has the hemi with racing headers. You will need to scratch build or purchase a resin intake.
  4. Nice builds, thanks for sharing!!! Who did the decals for the Bud T-bird?
  5. Yes the 60 Starliner chassis and floor pan fit perfect under the Marauder.
  6. Really like this build. Find myself looking at it quite offten. Nice job on the colors and cleanliness.
  7. I'll be there Sunday. Those of you that I haven't met. I will be in a blue Dale Jr T-shirt shirt, so say hey
  8. RedBandit, After the 69 model year GM went on strike. So the new model Canaries wasn't released until mid year.
  9. How do I post a direct link to my photbucket album?
  10. Nice job Scott. I like the Roadrunners.
  11. I'll be there. Fifth time in the last ten years. Great show and you get to meet great people from all over.
  12. I like a good NASCAR history lesson. Also like researching to. I have no way of scanning pics. So, I wonder if the #300 with the #42 was a one race deal between Lee Petty and Kiekhaefer? The Fielden book does show a red and white #42 for 1955 for Lee. In 1956, it shows Lee driving a two tone Dodge

  14. If i might suggest. I had a 1:1 '47 Aerosedan. The frame was the same as the Sedan Delivery. Pick you up a copy of Street Rodder mag and scratch build you a Mustang II front suspension.
  15. Thanks for the compliments. It is still on the bench. Will post pics when i have some ready.
  16. Nicely done!!!!! Will use your build as reference if you don't mind when I build Cale's all white version.
  17. Thanks guys. Bob, the decal are by ACE/Powerslide and is available from Mike's Decal. This has been on the bench for about two years. Hoping to finish it for a contest in June.
  18. Hope pics aren't to big. In 1969 most if the major drivers boycotted the inaugural Talladegga 500 for safety concerns. Richard Brickhouse stood in as driver of Nichels #99 Daytona. He won the race and logged his only ever NASACAR win. I am using the Revell Daytona as my basis. Here is what i have
  19. If you go up to Owasso, there is a well stocked hobby shop on South Main Street called Topshelf Models. If he doesn't have it, i am sure he would order it for you. Ken
  20. Very nice job!!! May have to pick up that sheet. That gold looks great. What color did you use for the chassis?
  21. Small update. Opened up the cowl area and added the tail light blank off. Here is another shot of the rear window opening. The back slopes to the trunk. The Daytona has a smaller trunk lid than the Charger.
  22. Shoot me a pm with your email and i will send some pics. Having some sort of issue with my photobucket account.
  23. Hope this works. You guys with your great projects have inspired me, so rather than double posting I am adding a link to my build and will post updates here now . http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52689&setAsMobile=1
  24. Before I add more pics. Is there a way to have this thread moved to the Big Boyz section? Ken

I like the early iron in it's somewhat stock look with the street rod touch. I like the looks if the full tendered body versus the bobbed fenders. Very nice job on this build. That blue paint and the wheel choice is spot on. Great job!!!!!
