michael1969 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I made a custon corvette style rear suspension from hypodermic needles, dropped tube front axle from copper wire, added a v8 engine, and more. This taught me that scratchbuilding is alot of work. Hope you like it.
BigGary Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 How about some pictures of the chassis and drivetrain? Looks good so far. Gary
randx0 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Nice work. it looks really good I like the pin striping.
Smart-Resins Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Not a bad job. Once you get into scrath building, you will find some of it rather fun. Yes, some is still tedious though. LOL. But its a whole new world! Jody

michael1969 Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) Gotta get the camera out for more pics, the rims I got from a fellow modeler when we were in Bosnia on a deployment, I think they are from a camaro. The pinstripes are the molded trim I went over with a purple sharpie. they look good but im not sure if they ever dry, look closely at the smudge on the grill below the emblem Edited November 17, 2009 by michael1969
