Fantastic. Reminds me of my mechanic's dad's '89. They sold Hudsons and later AMCs for many years. Actually, they started by selling Franklins.

Out of curiosity, are you from Massachusetts originally?

Awesome build.

I read that there was going to be another version with the wrap-around rear taillights. I'm hoping that comes out soon because I'd love to build my long gone, but dearly missed '78 Wagoneer.

Thanks! RMR has the wrap-around taillight version too. This is a picture of it.

Bravo! Really like how that woodgrain came out. I gota figure out what to use on my '93 Roadmaster Estate from the Modelhaus when it comes.

Thanks! If you have a really good picture of the car you can create the woodgrain decals although the resizing takes awhile. The picture I used for my woodgrain decals was 15 years old so the details aren't as sharp as I would have liked.

Home: Marlborough

Previous place of residence: Turners Falls

Present: New Bedford

As of about the first week of January: Back to Marlborough temporarily until my finance and parental medical and financial problems resolve themselves.

If you're from Central Mass., originally, depending on exactly where, you may be familiar with Wheeler's Garage in Berlin. That's our mechanic. I still usually take my car back up to him for work.

I lived in Shrewsbury and went to college in Amherst. I miss the summers on the Cape but not the winters. My Dad used to take our motorhome to a garage in Berlin but I'm not sure if it was Wheeler's.

MMMM, never thought of that before. I might have to give that a shot.

Scale Equipment has some nice-looking woodgrain decals. I'm not sure how you'd go about doing the framing; I'd suggest using some thin sheet styrene and cutting out the framing from that, paint it before attaching it to the rest of the body and probably attach it with superglue for best results.
