Fuel Coupe Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 (edited) I decided to add a few bits of detailing to this one. Nothing fancy just a shelf model. Lowered the chassis a redid the tin work. Thanks for looking... Edited November 22, 2009 by TxRat
Daniel Peterson Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 "...just a shelf model..." Dude, we definitely have different shelves. This is very nicely done.
1320wayne Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Very nicely done Shane. Hope that's a fancy shelf it sits on.
Custom Hearse Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Awesome work! I remember the car at OCIR... One of my favs!
Dragline Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Always a great build from you Shane. I just started the Revell Super Shoe. Good time for yellow AA/FC's it seems.... I'm watching the Hollis Bro's coupe. That is looking very nice indeed. Keep it up buddy. Bob F
Fuel Coupe Posted November 23, 2009 Author Posted November 23, 2009 Thanks for all the kind words. It was a fun build for sure...
Trans Am Erik Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Looks good, nice detail, love the wrinkle wall slicks too.
oldscool Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Man does that bring back memories! And it looks just right too. All the old F/C kits needed lowering to look right and you nailed it! oldscool
Fuel Coupe Posted November 25, 2009 Author Posted November 25, 2009 Thanks Guys, I really appreciate all the kind words. It is built from a 1/25 scale Jungle Jim bag kit that I got in trade from a member here last year sometime. some wiring and plumbing, House of Kolor Lemon Yellow slixx decals and Urethane clear. I modified the chassis to get it to sit lower and redid the tin.I also remved the hump from the hood to flatten it out a bit. I used a file to work the sidewalls a bit and added flat spots to the bottoms of the rear tires....
