codie27 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 here is a pic of my first ever scratch built cab and chassis based on a 1951 autocar.i decided after looking at pics on the net that the only way i would have one would be to build it myself.so after three weeks of solid building it is finished and ready for a few comments, hopefully.it may not be 100% spot on but it is a very hard truck to find decent pics and info on,in any case i am pretty impressed with the final result
Tony T Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Hard to see much with one small picture, but it looks good to me!

kyledr330 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Very nice job on your first scratch build.
Peter Lombardo Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 You scratch built that in just 3 weeks? Do you have a job....do you sleep....do you have a life???? I am very impressed with the workmanship that I can see from the rather small pictures, but putting that aside, it is very impressive. Great job.....I love it, if you can't buy, build it yourself...great modelers attitude! Keep it up!
