I'm building AMT's 1966 Olds 442 convertible. is Tamiya's XF-6 Copper close to the bronze they painted the engine in back than?

I agree who has worked on the real deal, and it was more gold than bronze.

I'd say Testor's copper comes pretty close. Maybe add a drop or two of gold to brighten/yellow it a little, but that basic paint will, I think, get you in the right direction.
