got some more done axles mounted stock kit ones so it is 2 wheel drive using kit slicks

dechromed wheels, added gages to interior.Need to paint wheels and decide on motor migh

look in parts box not sure what i have. Started another with a old 58 Plymouth that I lost the

frame for so going to build one so far I removed the trunk lid and used art paints to make a rust

color then decided to say the builder salvage from at least 2 vehicles and painted front

fenders andhood black. Thinking of using the hemi I have in parts box in it.that should fill

my break from college for the 2 weeks I have off. Starting wendnesday. Will look found a few

pics and got more ideas from the Mad Max movies so should be good if not will just see what

I can come up with. Might have to try and build some weapons from what i have. Also dug out my scout model built it military style few years ago never finished lost bumpers and grill now I can use it as a third build that will go quick.

Hey guys I have a question.. With the convoy we have a scout, recon, firepower, zombie hunter, do we have a personell carrier to haul other innocents? Seems perfect for the middle of the convoy and I found something in my beaters. Let me know what you think.

Go for it I always say it is better to have to many vehicles

than not enough also it couls be storage for extra parts we

might find. We also need a rolling eapons carrier of some

kind to carry weaponry.

Just got home from taking my final at college taking a bit of ret painted the wheels

letting them dry. got axles mounted need to find a engine for it. and add weapons

then might be done and on to my second. Either my 58 plymouth or my scout the scout

is mostly built just needs weapons and armor on the windows. 58 Plymouth needs frame

built not up to it today and a floor pan. Have to scrounge for something either a old

pop cup or wood if have any.

Hey all. Long time since I posted... FINALLY unpacked my modelling stuff (mostly) on the workbench I finally finished in the new house. Only took me a year...

So, I was reading through the thread and would like to enter my Death Wagon (some of you may reqognize it from a previous build). Below is a pic from over a year ago.

[edit: sorry... deleted this image when cleaning things up. See completed photos on page 20]

got the shocks on the buggy need to paint the hood and a few

rollcage parts, brakes and still need to pick a engine and

build some weapons for it. Got a few ideas for my 58 Plymoth

that I might try. Built window armor for scout it is a old

build but missing the grill and bumpers so it will get something

to make it look the part. Also got few more ideas in my head

maybe a weapons transport if have parts after I finish the

buggy, scout and 58 plymouth. that is a lot of builds i want

to do.

Thank you! I really appreciate it. The wagon is actually from a Death Race build off from a few years back that I didn't finish.

Anyway, minigun... You can see it's brass. I bought a bag of mixed brass pieces from the HS. There's a couple 6 sided pieces around some mini tubes cut to length and glued. I just framed up the housing using sheet styrene. I'm actually working on aging/weathering a bit now. It's lookin pretty abused!

Building weapons is one part I have problems with

not a lot left in parts bin and no money to restock

it. Have a few ideas thinking of a canon made from

a soda straw.I have seen a lot of cool builds and

ideas here. Only problem everytime someone has a idea

I think that would be cool if this were changed might

never end up with a finished convoy of my own. Buggy

is on the tires and motor is some old thing from parts

box think it is from a thames panel truck but it is

missing the belts and intake have good idea for fixing

intake. Hope to be done soon. Today is my Birthday so

taking it slow sitting around just working a little on

models.

I think I used a little epoxy (Was about 2 yrs ago), if not it was CA glue. The small barrell pieces I just rolled under the razor blade and they cut VERY easy. I used a small hand saw for larger pieces. A dremel would prob work too.

sorry was looking at my buggy and scout thinking they need few parts changed

Buggy has slicks for tires no traction, was thinking of changing tires. scout t

he color is to glossy of a olive green needs to be dulled my part of the convoy is

It's 2015, much of the world's population has either been killed or turned into zombies due to the radioactive fallout from a nuclear war. Johnny has emerged from his bomb shelter. Everyone he knows has been killed, including his family. He hit the road in search of other survivors, and a car. After a few days of searching, he cam upon the remains of a garage. Inside the garage was a cust '71 Buick Riviera. He decided this would be the perfect car for him, but he would need to modify it, as it would not be able to stand up to the gruleing condition in it's current state. Stay tuned, folks.

Loks like it should be great when done. Working on weapons

for my builds so far made barrls for a gatling gun from coffee

straws and some extra model plastic, still need to make the main

part for it. have to find new motor for my buggy the one I found

does not fit transmission to wide hits pedals.

Changed plans on my 58 Plymouth not ready to buil the frame so might do something else

not sure if want to use round tube or more square on it but found a 53 ford pickup cab

in my parts bo thinking of a semi style build not sure what engine have a cat motor from

a semi might use it not sure. need to find tires and spare frame in box and it can be done fast.
