here's some pics i hope can help you out. just some basic scratchbuilding here, nothing really diffucult. this is the NOS "Fogger" style system i made for a Camaro i built.

just look at pics of the 1:1 parts and try to copy what they look like. here's a couple pics too of a tach mount i made for a '68 GTO project. slightly different tachometer but should work just as well with the one you've got. if you put it right on top of the dashpad it will hit the windshield.

Just to remind all the,so called adults here.There will be 0 hp,it's a plastic replica of a car.Something that sits on a shelf.It will never move on its own.Now on the other hand if you glue a dolls head to the hood your a genius?What is the proper way to build?I would love to know the ground rules.I don't hear people when they build those silly nude animated girls say,hey people don't have heads and eyes like that?Kevin,the build looks like she is going good so far.The only thing that bugs me about you is that Slip-Knot avatar.Go buy the new Slayer album!!!J/K I like Slip-Knot in small doses.Have fun...Go glue something.
