I found out the hard way when doing a candy paint job using Testors Candy Enamel spray paint over...YES...Krylon Silver. For some reason, Krylon changed their formula from enamel to laquer or something to that effect. I had done another candy paint job with Krylon Gold as the undercoat and it worked fine. The gold must have been an older can as it was enamel based. Yeah, Best to not mix em at all if you can avoid it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
