showbuilder Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 this started as the trumpeter alf fire truck. i stretched the chassis and body for a tandem rear. chassis is fully plumbed and wired. details include alclad chrome for most parts but some done in bmf, real aluminum wheels, tires cast by jamie (moluminum), scratchbuilt hoses in bed. painted in one of our local company colors (green/white). this will compete in the 2010 show season. it won at the new jersey region 2 convention on its debut and placed second at another show last year.
GeeBee Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Very nice job, good luck in the 2010 competitions.
mackinac359 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Beautiful. The tandem drive makes it look beefy. Tim
Paul B Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Very nice pumper-tanker though out here it would be a pumper-tender
