Jordan White Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 No, it's not my build (though I wish it was!) It was built by Andrew Desautels, who is a member at Aircraft Resource Center (website for model planes if you didn't know). I found it while searching for pictures of the Possum Van, and thought it looked great enough to share. (Full page is here.) It's insane the amount of detail he put into it! If it wasn't sitting on a table, I would think it's the real thing! What do you guys think?
Nick Winter Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 If your canadian and don't know who red green is, then your not canadian at all. I had the chance to meet Steve Smith in the CBC building one day here in Toront, also got to go on set.
george 53 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I know who Red Green is, but WHO is Steve Smith???
Nick Winter Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Lucky bugger! My Dad's a engineer for CBC (Canadian Brodcast Company)
Greg Cullinan Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I hope its okay to be American and not know Red Green??
Jordan White Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 (edited) Heh...george, Steve Smith is Red Green! Greg - It's probably mostly the people up North here that have seen the show. It was/is shown on PBS and on CBC, and I'm sure different states have different programs. Edited January 19, 2010 by YJIslander
george 53 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Jord, C'mon dude, Steve Smith sounds even more hokier than Red Green!!!

trogdor Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Here's a video showing the van http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-9xk3B1Xmo&feature=related
Eshaver Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Interesting , yes interesting in the fact that no one has commented on the fact that when A M T did that kit , they built it as a standard long wheel base van. Now here we see that this model is NOT A LONG WHEELBASE VAN , it's a Maxi Van ! That friends took some very careful body work . Oh well, guess i'll go back over to one of the Van Forums I belong to . Nick Winter Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Ummm, I think there's a misunderstand here. I'm not stressed or mad... Well you put the word french in all capitals, I don't care if your french, spanish, or german, ETC. Almost everyone in canada with a TV who watched CBC from 1991-2005 saw the red green show atleast once.
