Nick Winter Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 I had that kit it's 2wd actually that was the very first kit I built and painted by myself.
Jordan White Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 (edited) Bah, then the ride height is too tall. Guess I'll have to scratchbuild me a 4WD system for it! (Actually I sent an e-mail to see what the kit looks like that Perry's Resins makes). Edited January 29, 2010 by YJIslander
Longbox55 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 ok, ok , ok, I've got a good Idea can someone take a picture of the '96 Tahoe suspension.
Nick Winter Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Thank you Thank you, you are my angel at this point.
RodneyBad Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) Or one of the Revell (not the Up-Town) or AMT Cadillac Escalade is 4wd. For a S-10 4wd, look into the Revell GMC Syclone (awd) will be reissues soon. Sorry, No pics right now. Edited January 30, 2010 by Zukiholic
mikemodeler Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Forgot about the Escalade but that would yield the 4WD chassis that you are looking for. Not sure how well it would mate up but I am sure you could pirate the front suspension off of it. The Tahoe would be the easiest route to go, unless you are looking for detail. The chassis in that kit is one piece (like all snappers)but does show the basics. Mike
