Jim0205 Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I really like the level of weathering and your process looks great job well done.
JTRACING Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 Nails , I reallly don't mean to pick at ya but the spark plug wires are supposed to run through two METAL conduits that run paralel to the cylinder heads . They were painted black . Now these conduits were not used on the " Newer " 8-BA or 49 - 53 Engines . You sir have a 59- A B engine and a very well done and otherwise excellent example of one too!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done work , well done , carry onward and upward ! Ed Shaver thanks, i did add the tubes and the wires come out of them.
crazyjim Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) What wiring? I'm still looking the avatar - who is that? The weathering looks great! Edited February 10, 2010 by crazyjim
Jon Cole Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I think this is what Ed is referring to... Ed apparently knows what years have the wire tube. On the other hand, you have the photo for reference. Either way, the engine and the rest of the car look great.
JTRACING Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) got the dash painted, i left the pics bigger to try and show the wood grain. Edited February 10, 2010 by JTRACING
