OT; anyone have Tracphone?

How do you like the service? How did you go about transferring your number from a major cell carrier to Tracfone?

I have an old Virgin Mobile Trac phone....It works great, I believe the trac-phone service provider can help you with the transfer issues.

well honestly, i don't like tracfone! its costly (30min card is $30!) as where i can get boost unlimited(everything unlimited talk,txt,web) for $60! that it! and they have a much better service too! and also no contracts!

I don't know where you got your info, but I bought a tracphone for $20 that came with lifetime double minutes, so it costs me 29.99 for 240 minutes plus I get bonus minutes with each card that brings me up to 300 minutes. that works out to about 10¢ per minute. not bad for pre-paid and there is no contract.

if you are using it for just an emergency phone that is fine. If you are a real "chatty Cathy" you might want something with an unlimited talk plan.

had mine for over 5 years now. You can go to the website and it tells you how to transfer your number. Or just call their 800 number and do it over the phone.
