Monty Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I've been wanting to do a '70 Charger, but I don't want one with the R/T "scoop" at the leading edge of the door. See 1st pic. The two resin bodies I've read about so far are either listed as "R/T" (Modelhaus) or are depicted as an "R/T" with this piece already molded to the door. Anybody else got a regular one? (See 2nd pic)
RodneyBad Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Well you could use any 69 Charger and just swap out the Grill if ya got one.
jeffb Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 check with missing link. hes working on a 70. the scoops are seperate in his kit
george 53 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Jeff's right. Kevin is casting a 1970 body WITHOUT the scoops for those who want just a regular 70 Charger and not an R/T . And Nope you can't just put a 70 grille on a 69. Too many little differences in the front fender sheetmetal. I know, caz I tried it. Jeff, we GOTTA get Kev to update his website!!!
