Janne Herajärvi Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I did this about three or four years ago. I dont have interior pics or good chassis pics. Only engine pic is progress pic. Paintjob is finished with brush and Humbrol enamels. Maybe i take some new pics later Not my best work but i still like it.
Jon Cole Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Brush painted? Darn good paint for a brush job! A -thumbs up- icon here if we had one!

vizio93 Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Looks good man, I like the orange and black color combo
nails3825 Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Brush painted? A few of my shake can paint jobs don't look half as good, haha! You have skills!
Bernard Kron Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Nice looking build. I can only repeat the comments about brush painting. It's awesome (the chassis shots are equally impressive.) Back in the day (a loooong time ago) I used to brush paint. To get a nice gloss I used to put it down very thin and then rub it out with automobile rubbing compound and then wax it. Today I'd use polishing cloths and plastic polish. I'd love to know what your techniques are. I know the Humbrol paint helps. There are plenty of times where good brush painting technique would be preferably to all the masking rigmarole that spray painting might require...
Dr. Cranky Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Love the look and you can't go wrong with red and black. I've always loved that kit. Great job!
