Sixties Sam Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Very nice truck! I like the paint! The interior and engine detail are great! Sam
Eshaver Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Before I comment on the truck , thank you both for you're brave service . I was almost drafted myself in 1968. Somehow , I managed barely enough to stay in school and keep a decent grade average . I'm not sure how , but I did. The truck ............... whats all the beef about ???????? I think the color is very attractive so whats the problem , please explain to me what , I jus don't get it . Ed Shaver
crazyjim Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 (edited) Thanks Paul and Sam. Ed - the color is okay but there should be a separation line. I sprayed the whole truck with silver base and then went around the bottom portion and wheelwells with gold base. The plan was to have a fogged affect but came out 1 color. I'm in the learning process of airbrushing. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1968 after 7 grade school and high school friends and a cousin had been killed in Vietnam. We graduated high school in 1968 and 2 years later they were dead. I had my 2S Student deferment in my hands when I walked into the recruiters office. I signed up for 2 years - that guaranteed I was going to Vietnam - to avenge the deaths of my friends. Edited February 23, 2010 by crazyjim
