DanielG Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I built this one for a friend that had seen the real thing at an Ontario track. I used a Kyosho Mini and brass and aluminum stock to build the winch and tow-bar assembly which is fully functional.

Simon Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I love it! Great work, especially on the wrecking gear. Though I doubt the rubber cone suspension would allow it to lift much more than a full suitcase! Very imaginative

The winch was constructed of brass and aluminum stock (strip, tubing, angle etc.) which was soldered and/or bolted together with some gears taken from broken toys. The towing assembly was the most miserable to do as it required building the tiny universal joints so that it had complete range of movement. I do not know how this vehicle was actually used but it did appear that it was, I assume for small sports-cars at the track.
