Mooneyzs Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Bruce.... Very Nice build, she is beautiful. I love the choice of color. What color base did you use under the Brandywine??
scaleautobuilder Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 I used HOK Orian Silver as my base. Thanx Bruce
Jon Cole Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Now I have seen a lot of '49 Mercs, but that one just shines! It is so... clean! It is what I would have in a '49 Merc. Two thumbs up!
Longbow Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 That's one nice Merc. The color is sweet. My next built I`M going to shoot Burgundy Metallic over Gold with a aluminum plate primer.I`m also going to test it on a spoon first.I like your model Thanks for sharing.Gary Thomason
RodneyBad Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Awesome looking Merc. Paint looks Fantastic. Super job.. Love it..
speedy5963 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Nice build Bruce, really looks good. For as much as people are using the Kandy's these days we still don't see a lot done in Brandywine. The color is very nice and rich but most people go for the Apple Red. Great choice!
W-409 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Awesome paint job and fantastic build! I like '49 Mercurys. I have one, it's old amt kit with original height top.
carrucha Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Excellent job on the paint and nice pictures. Very good job. carrucha
Railfreak78 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Beautiful car and I love that first picture. Looks like we are at a car show watching you pull in.
oldcars Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 The car is cool but the disc really set it off. Are they aftermarket or from a kit?(the kid in me has to know) Richard
