FUSO truck

Yeah, I bought one of these rigs when I saw it in the hobby shop. The engine in the kit is chromed and I need to know what color the engine was. The body looks to be around an early 80s design. The truck is a FUSO KFV-214 JR with an auto transport trailer added.

The engines that I had seen when stationed on Okinawa while in the Military, were of an aluminum color or yellow. That engine being chrome seems to me to indicate an aluminum type color.

Aoshima offers a whole line of the 1/32nd scale Japanese trucks. Unfortunately, most of them are not directly available in the US or Canada.

The 1/24th scale kit is actually a nice kit, includes working rear suspension etc and true 1/24th scale,

Yeah, I think so. It will represent an importer of JDM classics in the US. What a nice way to showcase ones service than with a JDM truck. I now have to build all my Japanese car kits! Worky worky!
