Brizio Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Some weeks ago, I started another car... The kit looks good, for what I can understand. And this time it will have a engine, non Hamster any more!!!! Now this kit it is in a stand by, because I'm playing with the Dune Buggy... This the box art... The first work was about the steering wheels. I tried to drill the hole on it for make it looks more "real", but it was too difficult, and take so long, so I decided to rebuild it. And here the steering wheels finished. Looks not to bad, will see it, when it is paint. Next step the chassis... Build out of the box without any problem, the only thing I changed it is about the front wheels support, now they are able to turn, and also I lowered the front and the rear, I think should fit good so... After I covered it with flat black...
Brizio Posted February 28, 2010 Author Posted February 28, 2010 After consulting my brother I decide to build a guitar, that will go inside the car. Yes, it is paper... Also a broom... It is not done yet. Need a red string. I couldn't find rims for it in that size, so I toke the center part out from a smaller rim, and put on a Willys-Jeep rims that fit perfect in those tires. Probably it is not correct, like the one used on the original car, but I think looks good... Now it is a T-Bee, where T stand for Turbocharged... Why Turbo??? Because the first car I drove had a turbo engine... So much fun with it!!! :D This is not a great pics for see the body, but I painted it in gold. After I start to work on the engine, and it toke a lot... Before I converted the carburetors engine to fuel injected, after I played with the turbos and all the tubing and stuff the turbos needed... Made fit the V8 with the turbocharged system was kind of stressful, because there aren't space on the side of the engine without cut the fenders. I find out thet relocating the radiator, was helpful for have space for all... I hope soon have more info about it!
diymirage Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 nice i like all the older mopars and the B is close to the top of the list this is a great take on it (though your hemster was quite origenal aswell) looking forward to see some more engne shots
Railfreak78 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 This could get interesting. It might be paper but I like the guitar!
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Looking good!!! Too bad there aren't any decent scale sized turbos. Those turbos on your car would scale out to 12" in diameter or more. That's one huge hair dryer!!! Please post some engine pics as I would like to see more.
Harry P. Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 I'm just wondering why you'd be carrying a guitar and a broom...
Roadkill2525 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 I'm just wondering why you'd be carrying a guitar and a broom... The broom is for showing a clean sweep at the drag strip.
Brizio Posted February 28, 2010 Author Posted February 28, 2010 Thanks guys! @Harry P., El Destructo Inc., the broom is for clean the car... You'll see later when I have more progress about it. @Marc @ MPC Motorsports, the turbos diameter is around 0,3 inch, so it is in scale. Thanks for looking!
RodneyBad Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Wheels look good. Broom looks good. Guitar Looks Great. Motor Looks Flippin Awesome...
Brizio Posted March 1, 2010 Author Posted March 1, 2010 Wheels look good. Broom looks good. Guitar Looks Great. Motor Looks Flippin Awesome... Thank you!!! There is a lot of work to be done... Now I need to finish the Dune Buggy, and after I can come back ona the Bee...
pharr7226 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 The wheels and guitar look great. The motor looks pretty sweet from the front. I would love to see more pictures of the motor.

Brizio Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Slowly slowly back on the Bee... I made the new brake pedal for this car. Also the clutch pedal will be the same...
RodneyBad Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Brake pedal? Looks like a lucky Horse shoe. Nice little work.
Brizio Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 It is supposed to bee a horse shoe... I had a wired idea about this car... I hope soon make some more progress on it!
Brizio Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 Now that the Blown Mower it is done, I have some time to share with the T-Bee...
Brizio Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 I will add to it a trailer, here a mock-up of it. The chassis it is almost done, need springs, some electrical cable, lights... etc... The rims are from a Jeep Willys, but the tires I have no idea from where they came out...
