Raul_Perez Posted July 4, 2010 Author Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) Wow!! It's been a month since I last posted any pictures of this beast!! Anyway...I broke out a new can of Testors Honduras Maroon lacquer and a new can of Testors clear and went at it. It almost looks good enough to build without a good color sanding and polishing first...we'll see how much of its luster it holds when it cures. Here's a few pics about 5 hours after it was painted. Well...I'll let this one cure for a week or two before I polish it a bit and finish putting it together... Until then, I think I'll get back to work on my 50 Chevy Z06 pickup... Romell R Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 that paint came out superb Bro keep up the good work!
Geezerman Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Nice work, Raul. You sleeked that pig down perfectly !! I know you had good and valid reasons for extending the rear pan, but I liked the bobbed look it had (excluding the gaudy exhaust tips, of coarse). Beautiful model.
Bernard Kron Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 (edited) Niiiice! The faux wood came it great and looks real fine up against the maroon paint. Adding the interior, glass, small trim items, lights, etc. will really pull it together. Edited July 4, 2010 by gbk1
