Rob Hall Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Those '58s are neat...my folks had a '58 Mercury Monterey 4dr when new, about 12 years before I was born..I've seen a couple of pics of it..quite a big car, bigger than the '80s/90s Lincoln Town Cars my folks later drove, I think...
jbwelda Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 that stude aint no lead sled, thats a proper car!
MrObsessive Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Yep, the very cars of my early childhood. Those were some of the first cars I started to notice when I first knew what cars were. Along with the then new '64 GTO's and 442's the streets of my town had some very interesting iron roamin' around back then. That '58 Stude Hawk brings back some memories when we were stuck in a snowstorm in one during the winter of '66..................wish you could here the noises I could imitate that it made!
