jeffb Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 yep. shes ruff, but theres not as much rust as ya think. she was a cali girl till a the late 90s. she was cheap, and i have history with a 63 val wag. my granddad died when i was 15. me and two of my uncles drove my granddads 63 wagon back to detroit from arkansas. they wanted to give me the wagon, but what did a 15 yr old kid want with a 13 yr old 6 cyl wagon when there were hemi road runners in da 'hood. now i have a second chance at doing my granddad proud.plus..guess whats gonna happen as soon as all the snow melts and i can drag her out of the garage? tapemeasure anyone????
Railfreak78 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 That rear looks like a challenge however over all she has potential. Good luck with your project

jeffb Posted March 3, 2010 Author Posted March 3, 2010 (edited) i have the glass.. if it comes down to it, the left front wheel opening on a 65 a body is the same arch as the right rear on a wagon..just a lil weld here, a bit of sheetmetal there..and viola! new 1/4 panel.. but i need to get er running first, body works ways down the list. plus, they used that same 1/4 on 63-66 valiant and dart wags.. pricy part will be shipping the 1/4 from out west...
