Correctamundo!!!

BUT....................... it just MIGHT be built as a "Back-up Pickup" type wheelstander.

If so, it will be sponsored by "Reverse Engineering Inc."

and called the "Aroed"!

You could take two of them and cut off the back parts....Take the two fronts and put the back of fronts together and make a cool little surf buggy.....I did it as a kid and put surf boards on the top.

I've seen a streched version of the Deora as a car hauler on the forum here. It was hauling a Tony Nancy rail I think. As for making it any shorter, I haven't the 2 kits to do it with but it's an interesting idea! I'm gonna stick with the "Reverse Engineering" wheelstander, it's gonna be cooool! B)

I've the pics of the stretched Deora and that's where the plan hit me. I like the idea of your reversed wheel stander too! I'll be watching your future posts with interest.

I have a buch of slicks in the parts bin, but no Roth kits. Do you need the width & height measurements? Pics? What about wheel size?

No problem on those tires, I already have some on the way, but thanks for thinking of it!

some further preliminary work done...

I cut out the frame wheel wells so as to better fit the slicks as well as modifying the chassis by cutting out non needed areas. I also cut out the interior engine cover to accomodate steering and some leg room for the driver. I am using a seat that came with a Roth kit as an extra part. I have built a roll cage and covered the interior area that was cut out. more to come.

Body has had 2 sections out to shorten it and preliminary sanding/priming done to expose some flaws. The interior roll cage has been redone and interior is nearly complete.
