Corvette.Jeff Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 sheeyt, thats nothing a toyota land cruiser with a 12,000 lb rated winch couldnt get you out of. in like 3 minutes. wave a 100$ bill around and one will show up. funny you mention that, my neighbor has a newish fj cruiser, he saw that i was stuck and came and pulled me out
Joe Handley Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) Eh, nothing a good limited slip can't fix, or maybe even a set of airshocks BTW, how about leaving it look like that with wider rims, more tire, and a monster pump gas 440 Edited March 7, 2010 by Joe Handley
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 that was my plan, the wheels off the newer dodge rams(2000-2005) will bolt up to it, those are like 6" wide i think, compared to these that are just cookie cutters. Its still in the early stages of the drawing board, but i may shoot for a blown 440 The only bad thing about choosing this as my hot rod truck is theres not that much of a demand for aftermarket, so alot of stuff is going to have to be fabbed up. Like they say though, it wouldnt be called hot rodding if it were easy
Corvette.Jeff Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 whichever way i decide to go with it it will be a few things, slammed to the ground as low as i can go, big diameter wide wheels, dark windows, projector headlights, gutted interior, 8 point cage, racing seats and harnesses.
