Dragline Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I know those who haunt the Drag Racer category have seen this car in progress Ad Nauseum. But there are many here who don't comb that hallowed category, so I thought I'd share my completed version of this, my latest build. Quite a few sourced parts and items on this car so suffice it to say, it is not OOB. This was a fun build, and is convincing OOB, but I went kinda all out on this. I am pleased, and hope it amuses those of decidedly different tastes. Bob
Fuel Coupe Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Great work Bob. Puts my stuff to shame for sure. KEEP IT UP!!!
John Teresi Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Looks Great!!!!!......detail is superb!.......you did an excellent job on this one.
Dragline Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) Great work Bob. Puts my stuff to shame for sure. KEEP IT UP!!! Without a doubt, the single largest piece of nonsense ever Shane.... Your Charlie Allen build is STUNNING. The Hollish Bros coupe is not only extremely well executed, but also [barring J Teresi] the single rarest car I have ever seen modeled. You have great talent my 1320 loving friend. Make no mistake about it. JT, Thank you once again. I didn't place this here to mine comment from those who already commended me on this build, but to show the MCM board at large what I have accomplished. You all have chimed in already and I appreciate the bonus comments here. Bob PS: As can be seen, I need more tire decals, as the right side is devoid of it. It'll have to wait till my decals arrive.. sigh.. Edited March 10, 2010 by Dragline
oldscool Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 This is a fantastic looking build and I check the drag racing section all the time. I would rather watch a drag race than a Nascar race any day. oldscool
Mooneyzs Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Bob.... Great work on this kit. I said it over in the Drag section, she is a beauty and I love how it turned out. Very Nice and clean. I love the detail you put into it.
