CAL Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 This guy put his Lamborghini on his wall. He said it had lots of problems and got tired of fixing it.
sjordan2 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 This guy put his Lamborghini on his wall. He said it had lots of problems and got tired of fixing it. Many years ago, I read about a guy who had his Lamborghini Miura airlifted to the garden of his Manhattan penthouse because he wanted to display it as a work of art. I also seem to remember that Stirling Moss had one of his F1 cars mounted on the wall at his home.
diymirage Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 along the same lines, there was a guy who lived a few vilages over from me and where he lived there were some pretty strickt rules on what you could and couldnt do with your lawn as far as making it look like a salvage yard so he had this car sitting in his front yard that was slowly rotting away well, his neighbours called the cops and they told him he had X amount of days to get rid of it or he would get a fine for making the city look like ###### so he poured a big concrete pad in his yard about a foot high and he and some bodies lifted the car up on the pedistal and when the cops came back later he told them "what car? that one? thats not a car, its a lawn sculpture"
Jon Cole Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) Using a Lamborghini as wall art is nice if you can afford it... I would rather have one as driveway art! Edited March 10, 2010 by Spyder

MicroNitro Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 About ten years ago I built a full size top fuel dragster to hang from the ceiling of an Indy strip club. I never have gone to see it.

JamesW Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 There's a body shop here that has a Taurus on the roof. And there's a place up the street that sells sheds and they put a Lebaron? wagon on the roof of a 8x10 shed. LOL

Ryan Quantz Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 The Sprue-on-the-wall is a neat idea. I might make my own. But for now, I enjoy the two 1953 Cadillac hubcaps hanging above my couch that I picked up at a garage sale for 3 bucks each.
