Dr. Cranky Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 Thanks, everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I know I did!
Guest 85Biarittz Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Great looking build!!! Thanks for all the tips on what you use and how to do the paint. Charles
Ryan S. Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Beautiful and inspiring, Cranky. This this is wicked! All these '32's make me feel the need to get acouple and get to work. BTW, your water drop effect and technique is one of the coolest things I've seen on here; super cool!
hemithunder Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Cranky....? With these skills whats to be cranky about? Absolutely Amazing.. I dont have an airbrush but I thought hey I'll give this a try.. Not too bad... What do you use to buff with? That's always been one of my bigest problems. I can do an old beater without any problems but High class paint... Here's a pic of my first attempt.. it wont be the last
Tom Kren Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 All I can say is Beautiful!!! Love the paint work and build Great job!
Dr. Cranky Posted March 15, 2010 Author Posted March 15, 2010 Thanks, Tom. I use the buffing kit from Micro Mark. It's always worked well. I like the paint and texture of that vehicle. Experimentation always leads to some pretty cool paint jobs, that's for sure.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 Thanks, everyone, here's the last of the details. I needed to put the right plate on this one:
Guest Mustang3.8 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Well done, Cranky. I'm a fan of your work. Keep it up.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 18, 2010 Author Posted March 18, 2010 Thanks, folks. I had a lot of fun with this one, now it's time to get back to those 49 Mercs!
