diymirage Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 \ @Diymirage, Good idea, but I don't have VW engine... I'm a Jeep guy!!! i think i got a junker one laying around just say the word man
Brizio Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 i think i got a junker one laying around just say the word man Ok thank you! When I start a new lawn mower, I'll let you know!
Brizio Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 Some color... Arcadia Green from Duplicolor... Looks not to bad... The lawn mower will be green and chrome.
Brizio Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 Here a mock up with the engine. The engine could be build in 3 way, stock, custom and competition. The competition one has a blower. So I though this is a crazy idea to put a V8 on a lawn mower, so why don't make a good crazy job using a blower... And after, I remember that I saw a engine with two blowers, so two it is better than one, and I went in this directions... Let me know what you think...
george 53 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Maybe ... NOW THAT'S a COOOOL Lookin MOWER!!!!! i WANT one like THAT!!!!! Your mowers cool too Briz, but i think a HEMI, ESPECIALLY a DUAL BLOWN one, MIGHT be jus a LITTLE over the top! With THAT motor it'd make a REALLY cool Roto-Tiller!!!!
whale392 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 IMEX used to make a series of 1/12th scale Harleys, and some of those kits have an 'extra' pit bike included. The motor for that is almost a dead ringer for a pull-start Briggs, and looks like it could be adapted with little problem.

disabled modeler Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Hey Brizio....it would be a cool item for a diorama, maybe you should cast some off?
Brizio Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 Hey Brizio....it would be a cool item for a diorama, maybe you should cast some off? This one not, because I started to glue it. But I can scratch build another one, and sent to who want it to cast. Because I'm not great to cast stuff...
Hornistfuller Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 on double blown engines, the blowers are stacked, not tandem.
Brizio Posted March 13, 2010 Author Posted March 13, 2010 on double blown engines, the blowers are stacked, not tandem. That's not true...
disabled modeler Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 How about a small rail dragster style riding mower complete with cutting deck?
envious8420 Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 that double stack is crazy, Ive never seen anything like that b4, briz- great job on that mower bro.
Jon Carr Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 on double blown engines, the blowers are stacked, not tandem. LOL this is funny, that gto is my uncle's now old car, he bought it from bill bolin(builder) and drove it around here in oregon for a while (I rode in it!) and recentely he traded it for a top fuel dragster with a hemi!
whale392 Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) If you've gone crazy with the V8, don't forget the Nitrous tank strapped to the push handle (you know, for getting that REALLY tall grass cut)!! Edited March 13, 2010 by whale392
Brizio Posted March 13, 2010 Author Posted March 13, 2010 @envious8420, Me too... For the future I have also another crazy idea... Thank you! Mooneyzs Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Brizio... I love this build, it is so Cool!! That looks great and turned out fantastic. This makes me think of a snow blower that someone emailed me with a 350 on it. I will see if I can dig up the pics to show a couple of them. It was pretty cool.
